Scuttlebutt - January 18

January 18, 2023
Got a call last week from my Grammy nominated symphonic composer buddy Kip Winger  (yes, that Kip Winger) to add some strings to a rocking tune on his new album.

He needed a full string section, so I played 6 tracks each of Violin 1, Violin 2 and Viola and called my grad student cellist at Belmont University , Steven Schumann , to be the cello section.
Steven Schumann crushing it on cello!
Proud teacher on the left.
Had a blast doing a guest spot on a Fulltime Music Academy live stream, telling stories and yukking it up with my buddy Jared Judge , who some of you  may  remember as a guest on my For the Greater Groove Podcast . If you want to check out what I had to say, here's a link to the show .  I come in around 15:45.
