G'day music lovers!

So happy to have my Aussie violinist friend  Veronique Serret  here in the studio, working on her upcoming performance in Tasmania of Nico Muhly's  breathtaking Seeing Is Believing, a 6-string violin concerto (the full symphonic version of which I premiered 8 years ago with the American Symphony Orchestra at Carnegie Hall, proud to say!) She came half way around the world to work for a week here and then in NYC with Nico. #dedicationtoyourart

Happy to share my bowings and fingerings and Kemper Profiler sounds--there was gear and computers a-plenty. And while she was here, I helped Véro get her new Paul Davies 6-string violin tweaked by Nashville's master-tweaker and builder of my electric violins,  Joe Glaser , and her bow rehaired by the only guy I let touch my bows, Tyler Andal ,
I'm always focused on the future of strings, and sometimes the best indicator of where we're headed is found by looking back at what we were talking about this past year.
