Hey music lovers!

My guest on the For the Greater Groove podcast this week is my old friend, Earl Maneein. Earl a leader in the hardcore metal string playing world, and he breaks down how he does some of his incredibly fast rhythm bow strokes and how his background in Queens influenced his classical/metal music. We groove hack Metallica's "Disposable Heroes" and then we find out how much the violinist from The Vitamin String Quartet knows about...vitamins.
“Earl is a kick ass player who pushes the creative boundaries.” - Robert Trujillo, bassist of Metallica
I was honored to be a guest on these 2 wonderful podcasts that we recorded last week. On One Symphony, Devin and I talked about the inspiration behind some of my compositions and I tell some of my best John Adams "Dharma" stories. In The Jazz Violin Podcast, Matt and I chat about why I always tried to sound like anything but a violin, and we get into a bit of shop talk, discussing vibrato and other controversial subjects.

The episodes will be released soon so search them on your favorite podcast app and subscribe.
For my NARAS voting members, I'm featured on a major new composition called "With Malice Toward None" commissioned by the Apollo Chamber Players from composer Kimo Williams. It's entered in several different categories, for your consideration.

As always, I’d love to hear from you--just hit reply or comment/message me on socials below.

Stay in touch and groove on!
