Scuttlebutt - April 20, 2022

April 20, 2022
Hey friends!
Nice to be back home! Been out in the woodshed mostly, so to speak. Shedding on the new concerto by Roberto Sierra. Finally getting the bowings and fingerings figured out and now I'm working on...well, talking about practicing is boring even for other people who like to talk about practicing, haha. So here are a few shots from my residency in Manitowoc, WI week before last.
For you string-playing rockers out there --and you know who you are--We're back! Live and in person! Sign up while scholarships last! The proud return of MWROC!!
One Week Left to Register!
And for you classical and jazz-curious string players out there--want to take your playing to the next level this summer? Need a little inspiration? Well, if you're going to practice anyway, why not do it in Tuscany?

I'll be working with a small group of dedicated students on jazz and Strum Bowing. Admission to this amazing program closes at the end of the month of April, so don't miss this opportunity to work with some of the best classical and jazz instructors on the planet! Click the image below for details.
Not sure if Strum Bowing is for you? Try this free workshop (below) and find out. And you'll still have time to register for Clazz before it closes.
Looking forward to a wonderful Strings Without Boundaries workshop with my amazing colleague Julie Lyonn Lieberman and the wonderful player/educator Skye Steele! That's me in the middle. You know, the King of Rhythm!
As always, Iā€™d love to hear from you--just hit reply or comment/message me on socials below.

Stay in touch and groove on!
