Scuttlebutt - March 22

March 22, 2023
What a crazy, literally jam-packed week it's been in Orlando at the national ASTA (American Strings Teachers Assoc.) conference! I had a STRUM BOWING booth for the first time, and met a ton of hard-working string teachers and students. Here are just a few memorable moments.

(Lots of photos, vids and announcements about summer camps so scroll down and, as always, click the images for links and vids.)

And Happy Birthday today to my beautiful wife!

Stoked to announce I'm coming back once again to join the forces of electricity and rock and roll at the Mark Wood Rock Orchestra Camp this summer, July 9-15 in Olathe, KS. This is THE place to be for rock string players young and old--a structured free-for-all of good vibes and distortion pedals! Don't miss it!!

So proud to be coming back to Fiddle Hell Online this year!

iykyk, and if you don't--well, I'll tell you! It's just the greatest, funnest fiddle camp anywhere. It's live in November up in the Boston area, and online in April, this year April 13-16. I'll be teaching 2 different classes and appearing on one of many, many concerts that you will have access to if you join--which you should!
