Hello friends!
Thank you, Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, for opening your arms, your hearts, your minds and your ears to my somewhat unorthodox instrument and approach. The live stream of our performance of John Adams' The Dharma at Big Sur, conducted by my new friend Ryan Bancroft, is still available until Jan 21.

with conductor Ryan Bancroft backstage after our 3rd and final concert
with the Baltimore Symphony.
My guest on the podcast next week is cellist Natalie Haas. There are few who have dedicated their careers more fully to being a rhythm string player, being the back up player, than Natalie. Her 20-year duo with Scottish fiddle master Alasdair Fraser is all the proof you need. We talk all about it. Then I quiz the long-time teacher at the Valley of the Moon Scottish Fiddling School about...The Valley of the Sun, an early Hollywood western.
Work continues on the new concerto by composer Roberto Sierra. This is my first glimpse at movement 3. There will be 4 movements in all.
Proud to be a guest on the latest episode of the Craft Brewed Music Podcast.
As always, Iā€™d love to hear from you--just hit reply or comment/message me on socials below.

Stay in touch and groove on!
